Atelier 19.6 is a fashion brand built around craftsmanship and personal expression. The founder is a seamstress who uses her hands as her main tool, shaping each piece with care. The brand needed an identity that reflects this intimacy, the attention to detail, and the strength of its handmade approach. The name comes from her date of birth, turning the brand into something personal and rooted in her own story.
THE CHALLENGE
The brand needed an identity built around the founder’s craft.
The mission was to create a brand from scratch that captures the founder’s DNA. Nothing existed yet, so the identity had to be built around who she is and how she works. The brand needed to feel elegant, confident, and true to the world of fashion, while keeping a strong human touch. We had to translate her craft, her precision, and the energy of her work into a visual system that feels unique and recognizable.
OUR APPROACH
We shaped the brand using the founder’s own touch.
We shaped the brand around the founder’s hands. The logomark is her actual thumbprint, a direct symbol of her craft and the hours she spends shaping fabrics. This became the core of the identity. We paired it with a clean and refined logotype that uses her date of birth as the brand name. The combination of the thumbprint and the number creates a visual story that feels personal and tactile.
We built the visual system with elegant typography, soft neutrals, and structured layouts to match the world of high fashion. The tone is minimal and mature. The brand assets highlight craftsmanship, detail, and the authenticity behind every piece. The result is a complete identity that reflects the founder’s character and anchors the brand in a strong personal narrative.
